South Lyon Lions Varsity wins contest against South Lyon East, 4-3
South Lyon East got things started in the first inning. South Lyon East scored one run when L Sciborski tripled.
South Lyon Lions Varsity pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Grace Walters doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, Ava Bradshaw singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Cece Dudek singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Bradshaw earned the victory on the rubber for South Lyon Lions Varsity. Bradshaw went seven innings, allowing three runs on three hits, striking out nine and walking one.
D Lis was in the circle for South Lyon East. The hurler went six innings, allowing four runs on seven hits and striking out three.
Bradshaw went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead South Lyon Lions Varsity in hits.
