South Lyon Lions Varsity lost the lead late in a 3-2 defeat to Walled Lake Northern on Thursday.  The game was tied at two with Walled Lake Northern batting in the top of the ninth when #22 singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Walled Lake Northern pitchers struck out 11, while South Lyon Lions Varsity sat down 12.

Walled Lake Northern opened up scoring in the first inning.  An error scored one run for Walled Lake Northern.

#18 led things off in the circle for Walled Lake Northern. The pitcher went nine innings, allowing two runs on six hits, striking out 11 and walking one.

Ava Bradshaw was in the pitcher's circle for South Lyon Lions Varsity. Bradshaw lasted nine innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out 12.

Ella Vitale went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead South Lyon Lions Varsity in hits.

#22 led Walled Lake Northern with three hits in five at bats.
